My Story

Hi, you don't know me yet, but hopefully you take the time to get to know me. I just maybe one of the most down-to-earth photographers you will probably ever meet. Of course, I will always give you my best work, but my job is also to listen to you, and give you the images you want. I have been told that I am super easy-going, maybe that's because I am always open for suggestions and I truly enjoy what I do.

I started taking an interest in photography around 2007 while mom was sick with a rare cancer called a chordoma. I had been a photo hobbiest before that, but my real education in photography started around that year. My photography became an outlet for me during some of the darkest times of my life. And my passion for it has just grown from there, because while it got me through some dark times, it also got me through some of the happiest times of my life.

In 2012, my mom lost her battle with cancer. Shortly after that, I started taking photography even more seriously and started Bonjogo Photography, which is named after my mom, a small reminder of her and how proud she was of me. It was her that gave me the confidence and encouragement to take my photography to the next level. And I couldn't think of a better way to honor her than by naming this business after her.

While I am very easy going, I take my work seriously. I would never give my clients pictures that I thought were subpar. That's just me. But don't take my word for it! Book a session with me and let me show you what I can do!!
